Safety is our number one priority at Swanson & Youngdale, Inc. We recognize that the success and growth of the Company depends on the safety and health of its employees. 

It is the policy of Swanson & Youngdale, Inc. to provide a healthy and safe place of employment for all employees and abide by all regulations as they pertain to our “industry” which are set forth in Federal, State and Local Standards.

The Safety program of Swanson & Youngdale, Inc. is one which utilizes our own full-time Safety Director to assist in providing the expertise to assure the program meets and/or exceeds the Occupational Safety and Health requirements and updates.

Additionally, Swanson & Youngdale, Inc. uses on-site safety staff at several of its locations to aid in providing guidance needed to achieve a quality program. Our safety personnel are trained to conduct safety inspections, file reports, and follow established protocol should an incident occur.

All new field employees receive general safety and health orientations, AWAIR, and Right-To-Know Training during their first week of employment.  Safety at Swanson & Youngdale, Inc. is a combined effort and is an integral part of the employment process. Safety compliance is mandatory and expected of each of our employees.
